This tram audio guide is an independent product, produced by Antratel Pty Ltd (ABN 24122328492), trading as Sydney Private Guided Tours. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way connected to Transport for NSW, Sydney Light Rail, Transdev, the New South Wales Government, or any tram/light-rail operator. "L2 Randwick", "L3 Kingsford" and related service names are referenced descriptively only, to help riders orient themselves. This guide does not include your tram fare — you must tap on with a valid Opal card or contactless payment. All audio commentary is original creative work about the history, architecture and Aboriginal heritage of the streets and places the light rail passes.
1. About this guide
- The Sydney Tram Audio Guide is provided free of charge as a self-guided experience for riders of the L2 (Randwick) and L3 (Kingsford) light rail.
- It is delivered as a web-based browser tour. No installation, signup or payment is required.
- The route runs along the CBD and South East Light Rail corridor between Circular Quay and Randwick. The tour is two-directional — it works and concludes at either terminus (Circular Quay or Randwick), whichever way you ride.
- Content is original creative work by Antratel Pty Ltd, ABN 24122328492.
2. Use at your own risk
- You use this guide at your own risk while travelling on public transport. Mind the gap, hold on while the tram is moving, and keep clear of doors.
- Keep your audio volume low enough to hear driver announcements, safety signals and your surroundings.
- Watch your belongings and be considerate of other passengers — use earphones at all times.
- Antratel Pty Ltd accepts no liability for personal injury, missed stops, loss of belongings, fare penalties, or any other harm arising from your use of this guide.
3. Service subject to change
- Light-rail timetables, stops, routes and service changes are set and operated by Transport for NSW / Sydney Light Rail and may change without notice.
- GPS audio triggers depend on your phone's location accuracy and the mobile signal along the corridor; commentary for a given landmark may occasionally fire early, late, or be skipped.

- All audio commentary, page text and original photographs are copyright Antratel Pty Ltd © 2026.
- You may listen to the audio for personal use during your ride. Re-recording, redistribution, reuploading to other platforms, or commercial reuse is not permitted without written permission.
- Service names, place names and venue names mentioned in the commentary are facts and are referenced under nominative fair use, with no claim of affiliation or endorsement.
5. Technical requirements and limitations
- This is a browser-based web tour, not a native mobile application. It requires GPS and a mobile internet connection on your phone.
- Audio streams from our server as you approach each landmark; momentary buffering may occur depending on your signal in tunnels or built-up areas.
- Keep the browser tab in the foreground for the duration of the ride. Switching apps or reloading the tab restarts the tour.
- Wired or Bluetooth earphones are strongly recommended.
6. Privacy
- We do not require an email address, name, phone number or any account creation to use this guide.
- We record anonymous session analytics only: a random device identifier (stored in a cookie), start/end timestamps, ride duration, and the GPS coordinates where you start and finish. This is used to understand usage and improve the guide.
- Standard web-server access logs (browser type, IP address, request times) may be retained by our hosting provider in accordance with usual web operations.
- We do not sell or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.
