Itinerary 1: Kuranda Highlights (Standard)

1. Kuranda Scenic Railway
Your day starts with a private pickup at 8:00 am. You will board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail at Freshwater Station. The journey winds through magnificent scenery, waterfalls, and rainforest, passing through stone tunnels and over hand-built bridges. (Duration: ~1.5 hours)

2. Kuranda Village
Upon arrival, you will have time to explore this charming mountain retreat. Visit the Heritage Markets (open daily), see local arts and crafts, or grab a coffee in the village.

3. Rainforestation Nature Park
Your private driver will transfer you to Rainforestation, set amidst World Heritage Rainforest. Activities include:

• Army Duck Tour: Explore the rainforest on land and water aboard a WWII amphibious vehicle.
• Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience: Watch a traditional dance performance, try boomerang throwing, and learn about indigenous culture.
• Koala & Wildlife Park: Hand-feed kangaroos and see cassowaries, wombats, and crocodiles.

4. Skyrail Rainforest Cableway
Return to the lowlands via the Skyrail, gliding just meters above the rainforest canopy. Stop at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations for boardwalks and lookouts. Your driver will meet you at the bottom to return you to your hotel by 4:30 - 5:00 pm.

Includes all of the above (Rail, Skyrail, Rainforestation) PLUS a visit to the Atherton Tablelands:

• Coffee Works: Visit a unique coffee museum and enjoy unlimited tastings of gourmet coffees, teas, chocolates, and liqueurs.
• Crater Lakes (Lake Barrine & Lake Eacham): Visit these spectacular volcanic crater lakes surrounded by rainforest. See the 1,000-year-old Kauri Pines and take a swim in the crystal clear water if you wish.
