Itinerary 1: Kuranda Highlights (Standard 9-Hour Tour)

08:00 AMPrivate Pickup & Scenic Rail: Your day starts with a private pickup from your hotel. You will board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail at Freshwater Station. The 1.5-hour journey winds through magnificent scenery, waterfalls, and rainforest, passing through stone tunnels and over hand-built bridges.
10:30 AMKuranda Village: Upon arrival, explore this charming mountain retreat. Visit the Heritage Markets (open daily), browse local arts and crafts, or grab a coffee.
11:30 AMRainforestation Nature Park: Your private driver transfers you to the park. Enjoy an Army Duck Tour on land and water, the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience (dance performance & boomerang throwing), and the Koala & Wildlife Park to hand-feed kangaroos and see crocodiles.
03:30 PMSkyrail Rainforest Cableway: Return to the lowlands gliding just meters above the rainforest canopy. Stop at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations for boardwalks and lookouts.
05:00 PMYour driver will meet you at the bottom terminal to return you to your hotel.

Itinerary 2: Extended Tour (+10% to Base Price)

Make a full day of it! This option includes everything in the standard itinerary (Rail, Skyrail, Rainforestation) PLUS a stunning afternoon visit to the Atherton Tablelands.

  • Coffee Works: Visit a unique coffee museum in Mareeba and enjoy unlimited tastings of gourmet coffees, teas, chocolates, and liqueurs.
  • Crater Lakes: Visit the spectacular volcanic crater lakes surrounded by rainforest (Lake Barrine & Lake Eacham). See the 1,000-year-old Kauri Pines and take a swim in the crystal clear water if you wish.

  • Port Douglas Pick-up: Additional $100 per group (due to extra driving distance).
